Yes! The cards function the same as your plastic card.
You can insert and swipe the card like usual. Tap to pay is not possible because a metal card doesn't have an antenna to transmit the signal.
Once we receive your order, we immediatly engrave your metal card and ship it out within 2 business days.
In case you choose to send your card to our office so we can convert it. We will ship out your package within 2 business days after we receive your card.
We are located in Assen, The Netherlands, and offer FREE worldwide shipping!
We offer two options for card conversion:
Option 1:
- You place an order
- We ship out your package
- We email you a video tutorial on how to convert the card yourself
Option 2:
- You place an order
- You ship your plastic card out to our office (address will be in the confirmation email)
- We convert your card and ship it back within 2 business days

Yes! We handle the customers cards with utmost care and DO NOT safe any information. We recommend to temporarily freeze/block your card before shipping it

We offer FREE shipping worldwide!
Yes! You can design your own card and upload any design on the Design Your Own page. For more insparation visit our Instagram and Tiktok or shoot us a DM and we'll help you out. It is the customers responsibility to upload designs without copyright.
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw your placed order(s). However, we want to explicitly point out that any customisable products or services are excluded from the right of withdrawal, and therefore cannot be returned or refunded. Please note that if there is an error in the details of your order, you can contact us through info@metacard.nl, and we will do our best to rectify the issue. However, if the customization process has already begun or is completed, a fee may apply if you still wish to modify the design.
No, it's a complete new metal card which replaces your old plastic card.
